BISPA has recently upgraded its pipework training pod, located at the Building Centre, London.  New additions include a seating area, a display of Tata Steel’s hot-finished Install® Plus 235 carbon steel tubes and an interactive touch screen monitor.  Visiting building services engineers are able to learn all about the work undertaken by BISPA to improve pipework awareness and the advantages that hot-finished tubes have over cold-formed alternatives.  Booking additional CPD courses or requesting technical assistance can also be done directly from the pod.  The information boards will be regularly updated to highlight new topics of interest, such as the risk of stainless steel and galvanic corrosion and the use of Virtual Reality (VR) as a training tool.
