A team of 40 Hoare Lea staff visited BISPA labs on the 5th of July 2018. Numerous research themes such as experimental rigs, BIM and Virtual Reality (VR) was presented to the visitors. Most of the visitors were design engineers and consultants and thus it was an in depth technical tour. Numerous challenges that are faced by the industry were discussed. There was an insightful debate on the future of BIM and how VR could possibly change the way they worked in their offices (or perhaps even homes). The conversations continued over lunch time.
